Founded in 2022, we are a group of dedicated dog sport enthusiasts working to give dog lovers access to information, advice, and opportunities to participate in dog sport locally.
You should join us!
Our club is a non-profit organization that aims to:
- Encourage and promote purebred dogs, canine sports, and responsible dog ownership
- Promote respect and ethical sportsmanship to others and the ethical treatment of dogs in general
- Educate the public about CKC breed standards and ethical breeding practices
- Hold clinics, sanction matches and information sessions for dog owners and dog lovers
- Provide access to Canine Good Neighbour Testing
- Hold CKC Conformation Shows, and Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility and Scent Detection Trials.
We want to offer the community opportunities to connect with others who are passionate about their canine companions. You don’t have to own a purebred dog (or any dog) to join in an array of fun events for Kamloops dog lovers.
Club annual membership fees are only $20 for an Individual and $35 for a Family, and membership will make you eligible for discounts on entry fees for club events, as well as training classes with K9 Fun N Games.
Membership will also give you a seat at the table as we broaden our scope, and work towards bringing dog shows and sporting trials back to Kamloops.
